What is your favorite fact about your OC?

Inez: She’s religious

Aria: She believes in aliens (what a gal)

Lance: He really likes grilled cheese (idk i find this so endearing)

Cesar: He can’t drive

Jean: They are breaking norms left and right. One of the best hockey players their colleges’ history, dresses however they like, owns a baby blue Camaro, bakes for their friends, IS A FARMER, and makes waffles every morning. I just love them

Hiro: Gosh, he’s such a nerd

Rangsey: He’s just as nerdy as Hiro

4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?

Definitely the social norms of the society they live it! Basically, They live in this world where the more ‘bad’ things you do makes you develop ‘monsterous’ qualities, (i.e growing horns, fangs, etc.) 

So for Adelaide: she’s an orphan, and was too young to work, so she needed to steal in order to feed herself and her little sister. Each time she did this, her eyes got a little bit darker, and now she’s in her late teens, her eyes are completely black

Lucas: my BBY, he’s similar to Adelaide in the sense that he doesn’t have much family left. Basically his story is that he’s out one night, and sees this girl getting attacked, and being the Martyr that he is, steps in to help. He ends up killing the guy, and he grows fangs and claws, and his eyes turn yellow. 

Angelo “Lo”: He was born with the horns growing from his forehead and was exiled because of it, he’s been surviving on his own ever since, until he met the other Monsters. (he’s the piece that makes them all question why they are ‘monsters’ if they can be born, and be made, can’t they change?) 

Malory: My Girl™ she came from a noble family, and had everything she ever could have wanted, but she didn’t agree with their outlooks on life, and overall they just Weren’t Good People, so she ran away. She’s the only one in the group that is “Human”

11. Did you know what the OC’s sexuality would be at the time of their creation?

For some yes, Adelaide is a huge Lesbian, and Malory is bi, the series kinda started bc i wanted to write about girls in love!!

Lucas and Lo kinda came after, in developments, Lucas is gay, but I’m still unsure about Lo 

19. What is your favorite fact about your OC?

these are just gonna be some lil personality facts 

Adelaide: she’s the one who hates what she’s become the most esp. bc her sister ended up dying, so she feels like it was never worth it. she’s in need of a lot of healing, but he fam of monsters is always there for her, and she’s always there for them too 

Lucas: He’s an Angry Boy. (he’s v protective of Adelaide) He’s always ready to fight, and tbh the only one who’s actually at peace with his ‘monster’ self bc he doesn’t think he got them as punishment, he thinks he’s supposed to use it to help those who can’t help themselves, (he’s a saint, but a deadly one) 

Lo: He’s pretentious AF. Like he lives for being dramatic, almost to the point that he’s self-aware he’s a book character jshgkfdgjk 

Malory: She’s the voice of reason, she’s an empath, and wants to use her voice to speak for them, if they would only let her👀she also is v romantic and has a lot of love to give around
