✒ Also how's about King Allant for some Demon's Souls rep
Allant is an excellent warning tale of what happens when you let an ideal get out of hand. He really did want the best for Boletaria when he set out, but stubborn narrow-mindedness combined with looking for the power to elevate his country set him down a spiral of madness.
It was a lot like watching someone get into hard drugs, I imagine. The demonic powers slowly warping his personality and priorities until there was very little of the original man left. But being in the position he was in, and how closely he played things to his chest, not many realized the change while it was happening, or even how severe it was in the end.
Keith, you're a fucking moron.

Keith tried to practice his flirting in the mirror, but even the mirage left after a particularly cringy line.
✒ For Fiddle, whatever verse.
Despite his insistence that he is a GROWN ADULT MAN at his age, he often still think of his peers as kids. A large part of it is the rough upbringing survival has given him, and a desire for safety in maturity/experience and having it.
It's also why he tends to gravitate towards people who are older than him, or have more serious and authoritive dispositions.
“It is impossible to live in the past, difficult to live in the present and a waste to live in the future.”
"Waxing poetry, Keith?" He questions, bemused. "Suppose it is so. But it is impossible to live anywhere without the past, the present will turn to it whether you like it or not.
As for living in the future, one may wonder if the difficulty of now is exactly how it comes so easy to many. Hope is a crippling beast, in many ways."
