Hi everyone, I'm Kel. Welcome to my corner of the dumpster fire that is Tumblr. There is lots of 18+ stuff here, so not a place for minors.

I'm an artist and I write fanfiction. You'll find lots of Star Wars stuff and especially Clone Troopers on this blog, as well random bullshit I thought was funny or cute or helpful.

I also take photos of my Clone Trooper figures to have armor drawing references and to make my characters sit in trees together and hold hands :3 (and also to trick myself into taking more walks in nature)

I was going to try and make the answer shorter this time, but it made me sad that I couldn't share everything. Sooo, you get the first short chapter plus art. I added some digital glow and background to a pencil drawing of that crystal (a tenga rock with a defect).

Oh and btw, right before this, Fawkes takes a nice shower under a natural hot spring waterfall in a cave on Andraven. He meditates and also does something else that relieves tension :3 I drew it a while back. Here you can see his butt.

The Crystal

Chapter 1 (587 words) 👇

Fawkes let out a pleased sigh and squinted while the warm water of the cascade pattered onto the back of his head and washed over his chest, shoulders, and back. The last traces of his stress relief technique were being washed away by the flow of water and carried off towards the deep abyss at the end of the cave.

All that remained was the rough but clean ground underneath his feet, solid rock glistening in the light of the remaining Tenga rocks and the mobile floodlight the quartermaster had allocated for this cave full of natural hot springs and small waterfalls.

Fawkes stayed with his arms braced against the cave wall for a moment and took a few deep breaths, directing his attention to his slowing heartbeat and the feeling of satisfaction spreading through his body, filling him with a renewed sense of calm, clarity, and confidence.

Life was good.

He stepped out of the stream and allowed himself to just bask in that feeling for a moment before he'd have to dry off and gear up again. The freezing-cold air was refreshing on his heated skin and cooled down what was left of the fire inside him. While he strolled through the dim cave, Fawkes let his mind wander.

What's that?

It was subtle, nothing more than a glint, but it caught his attention immediately. Fawkes knelt down and searched for the source of the reflected light. His hands found a smooth little rock. It wasn't much bigger than the small pebbles that had covered the ground when Blizzard Company first got permission to visit the cave recreationally.

The sweepers must've missed this one.

The rock felt warm in his hand, and Fawkes examined it on the way back to his gear. Its surface was mostly round and smooth, with just a few rough areas, and a sharper edge on one side. He turned it, and when the light hit it just right, he could make out a clear crystalline structure inside. He let his thumb brush over the crystal's perfectly smooth surface and felt himself shiver.

That's enough cooling off. Gear up before you start freezing.

He put the rock onto a small ledge above his stacked armor plates while he got dressed. Here, it was brighter than in the more private parts of the cave, and Fawkes realized he'd missed the crystal’s light blue hue back there. It almost seemed to glow on its own now.

Fawkes sighed heavily, surprised by the intensity of his disappointment. If it really was luminescent, it probably contained one of the few Tenga rocks that still lined the walls of this cave. And that meant, no matter how much Fawkes wanted to, keeping it would be a violation of the regulations and possibly even a criminal offense. Tenga rocks were a valuable energy source and the property of the Republic ever since Blizzard Company was stationed here and had claimed the planet and its resources on the Republic’s behalf.

Fawkes picked the rock up again and rolled it between his fingers. The glow was almost turquoise now and brought a soft smile to his face.

“You've got battalion colors too, huh,” he whispered as he placed it back on the ledge and turned it until its beautiful glow was on full display.

“Hey Fawkes,” Layne called out behind him and gave him a playful slap on the shoulder plate. “Hurry up, we don't want to be late.”

“I'm ready,” Fawkes replied. “Let's go.”

He didn't look back.

warmth love and awe 👀

I'll try to keep it short and not ramble too much. Ummm... yeah... Nevermind 😅

This is the WIP list if anyone else is interested.

I'm excited, because this is a very important moment for Red and Fawkes. It's written from Fawkes' POV and shows Red taking a big step out of his (sexual) comfort zone.

The draft has only about 500 words, and I really like it, and also have no self-control whatsoever, so I'm putting it all in here under the cut if you or anyone else would like to see.

Since this is something that happens several months into their somewhat complicated relationship, I feel a little bit of background info is required for the gravity of it to really be felt.

When they first start their sexual relationship, Red compulsively needs to be in control, but when he is, he's also pretty passionate. Fawkes likes it. A lot.

But Red is not comfortable doing certain things (In fact he's terrified of even trying anything he was forced to do as a cadet. And he fears he may freak out and hurt Fawkes or won't be able to be with him at all afterwards. He's got issues, but being with Fawkes is really good for him.)

This is Fawkes' reaction (after their second kiss) when Red vaguely hints that there are things he won't do:

“I don't care what we do. If all we ever do is this [kissing], I'm happy,” Fawkes said with a tentative smile and Red felt himself relax. “I just want to be with you.”

Warmth, Love, and Awe

Fawkes leaned back on the bunk and closed his eyes, just like he'd been told. He wasn't sure what would happen now, but he trusted Red completely. He always had and he always would.

Red ran his fingers over Fawkes’ arms, gently grasped his wrists and pulled them up over Fawkes' head.

“Keep them up here, alright?” Red sounded less certain than he usually did.

“Alright.”

Red's hands wandered from Fawkes' wrists towards his face and lightly stroked his cheeks. The touch was just firm enough not to tickle.

Fawkes sensed Red's breath against his lips just before the kiss, and he opened his mouth in anticipation. Whenever Red kissed him softly, Fawkes felt the flutter in chest and stomach. But when it was like this; passionately, with their faces smushed together and Red's tongue down his throat, it unleashed a heat inside him that he hadn't felt before Red.

Fawkes kept his eyes closed and hummed into Red's mouth. He couldn't suppress the desperate whine when Red pulled away.

“Red, I-,” Fawkes started but was silenced by another swipe of tongue.

“Shh, don't say anything,” Red whispered against his lips. “Just tell me if you want me to stop.”

Fawkes hummed and nodded. Red always reminded him, but Fawkes had never told him to stop. He never wanted to. He could never get enough of Red.

With his eyes closed and his hands gripping the frame of the bunk, Fawkes waited silently for whatever Red had planned. Every second felt like a lifetime, his heart rate speeding up with his growing excitement, and then, finally, Red started moving.

The sensation of an almost too light touch sent shivers up Fawkes' spine as Red's fingers wandered slowly along his throat, over his chest, and down his sides. Fawkes felt his breath hitch as Red gently caressed the scar over Fawkes' ribs. Ever since his injury, the tissue there had been different and the nerve damage had left him with a small patch of skin that was completely numb.

“Shh,” Red hummed against his chest and then brushed his lips against that spot.

Red kissed his scar, this patch of imperfect and defective skin, but he didn't linger. Hands and lips kept moving in unison from Fawkes' sides to his abdomen and then further down.

Fawkes sucked in a sharp breath. Red's hands started digging into the meat of his thighs with a firm but careful grip and his mouth…

Oh, kark! His mouth? He doesn't… he never… oh kark!

It was hard to keep quiet and to hold still, but Fawkes did his best to do as he was told, to do what Red needed from him to be able to do this.

“Let me know when you're close,” Red said and Fawkes hummed.

The warm wet heat of Red's mouth descended onto Fawkes’ cock and all that was left of his mind was a fuzzy soup of warmth, love, and awe.

This is something that just popped into my head while I was outside for my stupid mental health walk™ and looked at some trees, imagining troopers perched in them as lookouts... you know... normal things 🤭

My goal is to either write this out or make a little comic, but I'm not sure when and if I'll finish that, so here is the essence of it. I amused myself a lot while writing and doodling it.

[Fawkes and his squad are on a foresty planet. The squad is making camp. Fawkes is on guard duty and perched in a tree, just the way he likes. He notices movement but quickly identifies it.]

“Got a cadet-sized civilian approaching,” Fawkes reported. “No weapons. Looks like he's just wandering.”

“Acknowledged,” Sergeant Wheeler said. “Let him pass but keep your eyes peeled.”

“Yes, Sir.”

[description of the kid just wandering in the woods, looking at sticks and mushrooms, and bugs]

“Hello,” the cadet said suddenly and looked up. He grinned and waved at Fawkes.

[Fawkes hesitates, but decides to go along]

“Hello,” Fawkes replied.

“You're a Clone Trooper, aren't you?” the cadet asked. “Like on the holonet?”

“Yes.”

“Do you have a number?”

“I have a name.”

"What is it?”

“It's Fawkes.”

“Neat. My name is Surla.”

“Uh... neat,” Fawkes replies in lieu of a better answer.

“Fawkes, you're not very good at hiding,” the cadet said and grinned.

“I'm not trying to hide.”

“If you were, I'd tell you to cover yourself in leaves. I could see your white armor from aaaaaaaall the way over there.”

“I know how camouflage works,” Fawkes countered and felt a pinch of annoyance. “I'm not trying to hide.”

“Then why are you up there?”

“Looking for threats.”

[He's still keeping an eye out in case the kid is a distraction and enemies approach from other directions]

“Like what?”

[Fawkes doesn't want to scare the kid] “You don't want to know.”

"Yeah, I do."

“No, you don't.”

“I do.”

“You don't.”

“Why else would I ask?”

[Fawkes sighs and makes something up]

“[Space!Racoons]”

“There are no [Space!Raccoons] here!”

“Sure they are,” Fawkes insisted. He'd studied all available intel about this planet and the data specifically stated that [Space!Racoons] lived in this region.

“No! There aren't!”

“Yes, there are!”

“You're wrong.”

“YOU'RE wrong,” Fawkes snapped. He had done his research.

“I'm gonna tell my momo that you're a liar.”

“I'm not lying.”

“That's what a liar would say.”

“You little-,” Fawkes grumbled and thought about what he'd heard about the kinds of regulations natborn cadets had to uphold. “I'm gonna tell your momo–whatever that is–that you... talk to strangers.”

“No, I don't!”

“Yeah, you do,” Fawkes countered smugly. “You're talking to me.”

“You're not a stranger. You're a clone trooper named Fawkes.”

“Mir’sheb,” Fawkes muttered under his breath.

“What?”

“Nothing,” Fawkes grumbled and sighed. “You should go home.”

“Why?”

[Tries to think of a reason that won't scare the kid but also not make it ask more questions.]

“Because … you're… uhh… you're keeping me from my assignment.”

“Looking for threats?”

“Yes.”

“I can help you look.”

“That's not necessary,” Fawkes insisted but the cadet was already halfway up the tree.

[And then it goes on and on and on and Fawkes always engages and answers the questions and he hears his brothers snicker back at the camp. In the end he's much more fond of the kid than in the beginning, and he also learned A LOT about natborn children.]
