I Will Never Love Another
As I loved you, my dear, sweet Electra. You are the sweetest thing on this Earth, and I will cry after my life is done and over, because I didn't have enough time with you. I was ready to share the secrets of the universe with you...but such secrets would only leave you crestfallen. To grasp the magnitude of what I've done for you..it'd leave you heartbroken a thousand times worse than you are now. That is the burden of a martyr, to carry the Imbalance. I shall carry the debt of knowledge, and leave you with a clean-slate of ignorance. I only ask that you do one thing: That proverb about releasing what you love so it comes back to you stronger? Never do that. Keep what you love closest to you and never let it out of sight. As for me, I'll fade away into the existence that you've chosen for me, for in order for you to be up, I must be down. This is Balance. Until finally I am brought down so far, as to never rise again, and you will be lifted in a permanent state of happiness. Two years Electra, all will make sense, just two years time.
