Star Trek: Discovery S02E14 “Such Sweet Sorrow (Part II)” • ‘The U.S.S. Discovery battles against Control in a fight not only for their lives but for the future, with a little help from some unexpected friends. Spock and Burnham discern vital new connections between the red signals while Burnham faces one of life’s harshest truths: the right decisions are often the hardest to make.’ • For my poster for part one of the S2 finale I depicted the crew that pledged to follow the Discovery into the future. For part two I wanted to highlight the characters that stayed behind and fought off Controll so that Discovery and her crew could succeed in their mission. • L’Rell was one of my favourites since the beginning of @startrekcbs, hopefully we haven’t heard the last of her (and @marythechief). @ansonmount’s Pike and @ethangpeck’s Spock were obviously standouts this season. Surely @shazadwill pop up in the proposed Section 31 show. But for now it seems like farewell to many of these supporting characters.
