Some familiar faces showed up to scam me
Lol, NetEase goofed again. He's a character from an old Chinese story (the prequel to the long-awaited desert story). Maybe they'll add his model if he appears in this season's story. Along with ginger root.
His Discernment isn't as high. Shouren did say he's not the smartest. I hate customers with S for Greed. "Won't sell below valuation" more like "Won't sell below twice the valuation".
His line after bargaining was something like, "You're lucky I'm not looking for trouble today". I'm not sure if that's a reference to our past clashes with him or if he just didn't like my price (or the fact that I Transfigured the Erumpent horn down to common. I'm not letting him scam me THAT much). Whatever the reason, dude, you don't get to scam me AND threaten me. Pick one.
Her reaction is my favorite. She's just like, "What are you... anyways, let's proceed with the scamming". She has A for Greed AND Discernment. See, she's really quite nice when she's not trying to set you on fire.
And of course Zara has S for both.
Now, as far as special customers for the second half go, I have some ideas;
Estella. She's the only named character in the gang who has yet to make an appearance.
Shouren. Since he's trying to ingratiate himself with Borgin, and I just think scamming him would be hilarious.
Daniel. There's some basis for him shopping for ingredients in Knockturn Alley (the Erumpent horn and his mystery "source" for the Billywigs) and again, scamming him would be a lot of fun.

A Shadow Unbound discussion part one
Game is being glitchy. I'll add pictures later.
New season, that means a new owner of the singular brain cell that exists in this plotline. Morrow had it last season, for anyone else who's keeping track.
We knew the footprints were Kellen's because... they were too big to belong to anyone else, I guess?
We really fell for the oldest trick in the book. It's not our turn for the brain cell.
"Next time, tell us before you chase after a notorious poacher alone," Kevin says. Except I told him exactly what I was going to do. Not his turn either.
Oh god, I think Robyn has the brain cell. We're doomed.
...How does one polish a suit?
Why are we stunned to discover, for at least the fourth time, that there are poachers working at the Ministry?
The one thing that is consistent in a saga littered with retcons is the fact that Kellen is very much not over losing Shouren, and it's hilarious.
I'm not convinced that making Kellen lose his temper and then suggesting he kill us is our best escape plan.
SUBTERFUGE! I'll trick Kellen by doing... exactly what he wants... I'm so good at this.
He's trying to make us replace Shouren... dude, Shouren left you however many years ago. It's time to move on.
So... is Kellen dead? And we're hiding in a closet with a bookmark. I assume McGonagall will show up and rescue us. Then we'll show the bookmark to Shouren and it will unlock a core memory or something and he'll be happy that Kellen ended up changing. Then I'm sure we're setting up for some incredibly cheesy moment where we write our essay about Kellen.
