In another universe, there is a comic just like this with Keller Ann and Peartree remarking that despite their differences, they have one true thing in common. A preference for the short, thick and stupid as a brick.
Are they.....You know.....*wiggles fingers* roomates?
Selune DeLune and her stunning ‘roomate’ Girlfriend, Keller Ann
(The musical Selune is quoting is ‘Two ladies’ from Cabaret which ironically was made in 1972 which is about Berlin during WWII during 1932. WHICH ARE THINGS THAT HAVEN’T HAPPENED YET. SELUNE HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT MUSICAL NUMBER)
More Selune. More of this lovely lass. As for anyone who’s curious about what happens to her little flapper headband when she turns into a little doggy-it sort of drops around her neck. And is like a really bougie looking collar. She’s one of those fancy little dogs.
You ever just take your girlfriend who is sometimes a little pomeranaian to go play in the dog park with her friend who is sometimes a Corgi?
I really want to know more about Selene and Keller!
Well here we go, some Selune and Keller facts!
Selune DeLune is a Domestic Werewolf. Which is a sub variant of Werewolf where instead of turning into a big scary wolf at will consistently, she turns into this every other full moon.
She’s specifically a Were-Pom. A little walking powder puff.
Selune met Ann while she was working at the nighclub she works at (a waitress at the time before she ranked up to hostess) and said that Ann’s disguise was crappy because she could still see her HUGE FUCKING BAT EARS. It was love form there on out.
Keller Ann’s name is Ann Keller, but it’s a common ‘joke’ in the monster community that humans always put their names on formal documents last name and then first name and a lot of monsters think this is funny for some reason. So often times, monsters give humans (or human born monsters) nicknames like that. She’s also unjokingly called around the office ‘Killer Ann’ because she is rather aggressive in the workplace (you gotta be, it’s the 1920s, women reporters are still unheard of.)
Ann is a newspaper reporter. Although her job keeps trying to make her write women’s column, some of the best murder report stories have been written by her and her alone-they just don’t want to admit that she’s doing a better job than them.
Ann is a Vampire. She is a first generation vampire which means she was a human who died and for some reason-she fufilled the requirements to become a vampire. She carries the ability to pass on vamprism thru her deadly venom filled bite (although she hasn’t mainly because she doesn’t want to be bothered with minding after a bunch of idiot new vampires who know NOTHING. It’s like having children except your children are all adults who make bad choices.)
Selune’s family, the DeLunes, are a very old were-wolf family with Old Money (there’s a difference between old money and new money) and although all of Selune’s litter mates came out as proper were-wolves, Selune came out as....a Were-Pom. This caused a lot of blame games between her parents for years because they wanted to blame each other’s genetic linage for producing such a ‘sad specimen of a werewolf’ and in Selune’s honest opinion, she just wished they had gotten divorced rather than be at each other’s throats all the time over her.
Selune and Ann live together and are disgustingly domestic. Ann does most of the house work since she requires much less sleep than Selune. Although Selune does most of the cooking for herself, Ann sometimes does it for her.
Ann dresses much more modestly compared to Selune, she died in the late 1800s and although she doesn’t carry the values of that era with her, she still prefers to wear modest clothing to at least protect most of her skin from the highly damaging sun’s rays.
Selune LOVES clanky costume jewelry. She loves big clanky bead necklaces, big gaudy rings, Tacky earrings. In a Modern era, she'd defiantly be the girl to buy/make her own earrings out of stuff.
Selune also wears long sleeves with her outfits-although the style is currently cute sleeveless little numbers, as a Were, she’s much more hairy than normal humans and the hair is much faster growing. So to save time and effort, she usually wears long sleeves and stockings to hide the fact that no matter how much she tries to shave and be trendy-it’ll be back and fluffier than ever in less than 3 days.
Selune loves musicals and carabets while Ann tolerates them at best. It’s not that she doesn’t like them, she doesn’t like having to listen to the Critic Reviewer at her job TALK about them to the point where she just hates HEARING about them.
Selune is friends with another Domestic Were who is a Were-Corgi and he used to frequent the Nightclub she works at. He and Selune are the only currently known Domestic Weres in the city-mainly because being a Domestic Were is regarded as something shameful in the Were-Creature community and is often kept hidden from friends and fellow monsters. He often takes console in the fact he’s not alone in this city and she thinks he’s kind of funny.
Ann and Selune are both Lesbians although Selune as a part of her job with flirt with men.
Ann often calls Selune ‘Luney’ and Selune posessively calls Ann ‘MY Ann!’
I decided to play a game called ‘Redesigning old characters without looking at the first image you drew of them, it’s solely on what you remember about them’ and BOY. It’s wild to see how I’ve improved and pushed myself forward to try and get better compared to when the original images were done (I think like ...2017? 2018 maybe.) as well as experiment with a new kind of hair style.
Part of the Cast of my Noir-esque story called Induction, a story about a PI named Maxim Tentrill with some serious short term amnesia and a black out night that results in him being dragged into the secret world that exists of monsters living among humans.
