“so Shelbey what have you been up to in your hiatus?”
I started up publicly doing tarot readings. As an added bonus: I did a read on the royal couple, Nurthan.
I hope this interests someone.
OKAY SO, I did a general compatibility spread for Nurthan. Nathan’s signifier is represented by the 6 of Pentacles who is a very generous man both emotionally and financially. Nurie’s signifier is exactly what I predicted: the Page of Wands. Page of Wands is an enthusiastic young lady excited about life. However she’s still young and naïve about what may lie ahead.
Their dreams at first shocked me but then made a ton of sense when read together. Nathan’s dreams is represented by the 7 of Wands reversed. I typically read this card as someone who is beating back other sticks being hurled at him by his peers. I feel like this is someone who is overly judged and held to an unrealistic standard. It makes him quite insecure and unsure about himself. Nurie’s dreams are represented by the 8 of Cups. This depicts a man sitting down and reflecting on the dark and treacherous mountains behind him, reflecting on the hardship he has faced and how it’s behind him now. Reading the cards together seems like Nurie’s knows or hopes that things will continue to get better, meanwhile Nathan just wants to be comfortable with himself. Listen, say what you will about the Rodrigues family but I have a soft spot for Nurie and (Nurie’s other siblings). She seems kindhearted, just misguided due to her upbringing.
Their loyalties are exactly what you’d expect. Nathan is represented by the 9 of Pentacles which depicts a woman surrounded with gold coins in a blossoming garden; he is gonna be the breadwinner of the house just like God intended, gosh dammit! Nurie’s loyalties are represented by the reversed King of Swords, who is a strong, controlling, and domineering man. She’s still looking to keep the gender rolls baking in the oven.
The commitment that each of them bring hopefully works out as the cards predict. Nathan brings Temperance, who is a major arcana that represents balance and harmony. Nurie brings the 3 of Pentacles which I interpret usually as collaborative and working with each other for a solution.
The card pulled for their overall compatibility was the Fool. He is a major arcana and the first one in the deck. This card shows a young boy carelessly playing outside. While very much immature, this is a card of hope, possibility, and new beginnings.
The long term potential is represented by the upright 8 of Wands. This is a card of action. It depicted eight sticks soaring through the sky. Balance, change, and productivity are all represented here but they have to be cautious and careful because it’s going to happen so fast.
Hope this was interesting! I had fun with it lol. DM if anyone would like a personal reading, I do sell!
