Who at Marvel can I bug about getting a Captain Marvel action figure?

My guess -- and I stress this is a GUESS -- is that you wouldn't bug Marvel, you'd bug whomever has the license to do toys.  Maybe Hasbro? 

I'd love to be wrong, but I don't expect it'll be easy.  I used to work the Toy Fair in NYC every year and they have some VERY set ideas about what girls will buy and what boys will buy.  What boys will buy decidedly does not include female action figures.  

Might have more luck appealing for a Marvel Heroines 12-inch Barbie-type doll marketed for girls.

I'd love to be wrong, but... yeah.  

(Small collectibles that come in sets and are really intended for adults is probably your best-best shot.  Again, appeal to the manufacturer.)

The pat answer is "if it can fly, she can fly it," but real talk: F-15 is her preferred fighter and she owns a piece-of-crap Cessna 172.  

I wouldn't call it a piece of crap in front of her, though.

My LCS (More Fun Comics in Denton, TX) said that next Thursday they're having a Ladies Night event with a Skype interview with you. Can it be true? *hopeful eyes* (They mentioned a tumblr post, but I couldn't find it under all the NYCC shinies.)

Obama and  Boehner.

Can't wait to meet you on Saturday... But frankly, I think the highlight is going to be seeing all the peeps in the Carol Corps light up when they see you. The Carol fans are really unlike anything I've ever seen before... and that's all a testament you! See you soon!

If I usually wait for trades, is there still a way to support Pretty Deadly from the start?

Don’t sweat it.  I’m thrilled that you’re excited about it — go ahead and pick up the trade in March.  

(I will beg and plead to get people to pre-order, but I draw a line before asking people to deviate from their preferred format.  At some point, we have to stop putting the onus on the consumer.)

What do you think Clint Barton HAWKGUY would sing in karaoke, and what do you think Kate Bishop LADY HAWKGUY would sing?

I consulted with Fraction on this one. He said, “I don’t think Clint would; I think Kate would sing all of the songs. All of them.”

I concur on Clint.  I think Kate would sing something too cool for me to have ever heard of.  Something McKelvie knows.
