i was slightly disappointed that we didn’t get to go inside sagrada familia yesterday like we planned, because when we got there at like midday they were saying there weren’t any tickets until the 7pm session, (which i already knew because i looked online while we were eating lunch and said this to my mother but she disregarded it as she does everything i say!!!!!) and i said ‘why don’t we just get the tickets and then go elsewhere?’, but once again i was ignored :) :) :) so we walked like a fucking mile trying to find this shopping centre i looked up that was apparently close by and that was shit
so we walked the mile back and decided just to get tickets for whenever the next time available was, and we’d go to the marina because the shopping down there was better and come back later. got there - tickets for the day sold out. just like i knew would happen, but i daren’t be upset or complain because i’ll get called out on being ungrateful and i’m not i’m just disappointed because literally the whole of last week i said ‘i don’t care about anything but sagrada familia please please please can we just do this one thing for me’ (my sister doesn’t like that sorta stuff, i’m into history and culture and art and she just wants to know where the shops are, holidays are difficult) and my mum agreed we could definitely do it because she wanted to do it too
i compromised on shopping monday, we were supposed to go the beach tuesday but my sister felt sick so she didn’t want to anymore, so we went to the olympic stadium, then more shopping and a boat ride around the port, and we didn’t even get to sagrada familia until about midday yesterday because we didn’t leave the hotel till like 11:45 and then we just went for lunch smh
all week i was so excited because that was literally the ONLY thing i asked to do and i was even going to compromise on going to the barcelona football stadium for my sister because i just wanted to go so bad, but yeah didn’t happen
ANYWAY THIS IS A RANT AND IT SOUNDS REALLY UNGRATEFUL AND I’M NOT LIKE THAT I PROMISE I’M JUST SAD OK
but on the plus side my mum said on the way back to the hotel from there yesterday ‘who’s to say we won’t be back, i like it here’ so i took it as the prime opportunity to bring up GPF knowing full well it was in the area and i could guilt trip her into it lmao so looks like i’m going to that now if it’s reasonably priced so yay!!! :)
all in all it was fabulous, thank you for asking and i’m sorry for answering in such a ramble lololol
