Muhlaysia Booker is at least the 4th Black transgender person shot and killed in the U.S. so far this year, according to police. - Dana Martin, 31, was fatally shot in Alabama - Ashanti Carmon, 27, was fatally shot in Maryland - Claire Legato, 21, was fatally shot in Cleveland After being hospitalized, she made a public statement saying: “This time I can stand before you... in other scenarios, we are at a memorial.” Weeks later she has been found shot dead. If you aren’t angry at what’s happening in the world today, then you aren’t paying attention. Protect black trans women. Protect trans women. Protect women. Protect the LGBTQ+ community. Protect humanity.
