(Part 2 of 4) Some roads are still being built today: #Iggypop, #NewOrder, #TheSonics, interconnecting several musical neighborhoods in my head. There are also multiple paths marked with names of bands and musicians that have ceased to exist long ago, these are the ways I drive more often, they have a “U” turn on each side of their rodes: #TheRamones, #TheNewYorkDolls, #JoyDivision, #TheCramps. I try to maintain opened for improvements this musical topography but I do recognize that over the years it’s harder for me to allow a new road inside this messy musical cartography, I guess I’m getting a little square, fortunately there are bands with such a strength that can -and will- expand your own horizons and open new ways inside you, but only if you are lucky enough to run into that kind of bands, and you know what?
