Finally! I have a new A Graying World chapter. I’ve been struggling with how exactly how to present Gracie’s story since it involves so many moving parts, but I think I’ve (sort of) figured it out. Enjoy!

This is Kenji Lambert for @legendofsim

Kenji is a young squire who aspires to be a knight one day. Right now his days are spent polishing armor, sharpening swords and running errands for the knight he is apprenticed to. He dreams of going on quests and saving the damsel in distress. He wants to be the hero in the story not the sidekick. 

The only problem is the knight is not all that excited to teach him the ways of becoming a knight. Kenji has few choices. He can remain a squire for the rest of his life, he could quit and resign himself to becoming the next duke of his father’s manor or he might possible be able to find another knight willing to take him on as their apprentice. He is hoping for the latter but his time is running out. Most knights prefer young boys to teach and train and at 18 he’s already pushing it.
