She sent first sent it to me five years ago, and I was floored. Ever since I first saw it, I have been blown away by her level of detail, the expressiveness of her lines, and the emotionality of the people in the picture. You can absolutely see both Rory and Lena’s personality here—as well as how deep their friendship is. She has only grown more skilled in the years since she shared it with me, and I am absolutely a fan!
This lovely piece is also timely--as far as People Are Stories-in-Progress goes. On this week’s content, I do a relatively quick recap of Lena’s subplot in the Ever Afters, and I start to dive into what tools I used to complete Lena’s story. More coming on that subject next week!
