My Outer Wilds Solar System Map Embroidery Pattern is finally done, and up for sale on my ko-fi!

The pattern includes a printable template (which you can use on printable fabric, or copy onto your fabric by hand) plus a 25-page booklet detailing the steps to take for every section of the pattern. I've also included suggestions on how to improve on my initial design!

This is currently up on my ko-fi for $4 USD, and is a digital product (nothing physical will ship; you'll have to supply your own fabric and thread, though I give a list of all the DMC thread colors I used).

Outer Wilds Embroidered Solar System Map

Over 50 hours of work and thousands of stitches. This was a passion project and really exciting to see come together. Some of my favorite details include the fireballs falling from Hollow's Lantern, the Moon orbiting Dark Bramble, and the Strangers no one seems to notice until I point them out (directly 'south' of the sun).

This pattern is now available for purchase in my Ko-fi shop! The pattern comes with a 20+ page booklet explaining how to make each section of the pattern, as well as a printable template that can be copied onto your fabric

this is a basic draft, every planet outlined and colored so I know where things go so I can remove the tracing material

and here it is with the tracing material removed!!

it's over halfway done and it looks so GOOD on the solid black I'm so relieved!!

project update for anyone following along! not 100% down with how the Twins/Interloper have come out, but I'm gonna wait until everythings basically done and I can take the tracing fabric off before I go back in and add more details

#but honestly.... they have come out pretty good so far #textiles #outer wilds #the interloper looked kind of like a mess at first but i was able to figure it out #also if you look real close i made the quantum moon orbit dark bramble #but they shade of gray i have is real close to the shade this tracing fabric is so you can hardly see it #also i cannot wait to see how that Stranger looks on the actual black fabric #its not the exact right shade of black - i wish i'd gotten the thread and fabric to match before i'd even started #so it will be an obvious black on black and i'm just wondering if that will look cool or stupid lol #wip #my art #kennart

The girls made it home safely so now I can show them off to everyone else!!!

last December I got really into the idea of textiles as fanart, and my friends @bananadumbledore and @zzzendica had new D&D characters for a new campaign they were starting, so I figured why not test out this idea with my friends' OCs??

Here's Trixie (compare) and Evangeline (compare)! They took forever to make mostly because I spent entire months just not touching my sewing machine lol. They were so fun to make though and came out so cute!!!!

(I really want to try making more D&D OCs in the future...)
