Some Kenndy and Clover Fluff

Skating

"Guess what I found out?" Clover said, leaning on the stack of books on the table. Kenndy looked up from what she was writing.

 "What?"

  "There's a lake in the center of the forest. They d

say it freezes over this time of year. And I was thinking we could go skating."

 "That sounds like fun. One problem, I don’t have any skates."

  "I believe there is a sports shop here. Does tomorrow work for you?"

  "It's a date."

 "Remind me again why we're going this at midnight?" Clover asked as they made their way through the forest, skates slung over their shoulders.

 "Cause it'd be fun. Skating by moonlight, they say it's the best time to go.

 "They also say there are things in this forest that come out at night, that you shouldn't walk through the forest at night."

  "They say you shouldn't go alone. We are not alone, therefore it is fine. Oo look, I think I see it." Sure enough, there is a beautiful lake in the center of a clearing. It's like a mirror, clear and smooth. Kenndy sat down on a nearby log. "Help me lace these up?" Clover knelt down and started pulling and tying the laces.

"Too tight?"

"Just right." Kenndy wobbled over to the pond. She stepped on the ice and immediately fell.

 "You okay?" Clover asked, trying not to laugh as Kenndy spun slightly.

 "So, this is the part where I tell you I've never skated before." Clover laughed as she helped her up.

 "Luckily for you, I am an excellent skater." She linked arms with Kenndy and the two begin to circle the lake. Kenndy wobbled a few times, but Clover kept her from falling.

Finished up the Christmas village page. There are so much more delicious details to try and capture with a fat brush, but overall it was a really enjoyable Christmas downtime. I wanted to share my personal experience of visiting srilanka few years back. Srilanka is purely secular country where everyone follows their religion peacefully and living all of them like united nation. Which is was totally new for me and i was really surprised to see so many religions at one place, i have visited mosques and pray there. I visited buddhist stupas and temples, i visit hindu temples, i have been to memon mosque, church, parsi praying center etc. people were really down to earth and hospitable. You never feel that you are stranger here or from abroad. And this was not only one city experience in every city like colombo, kenndy, ella etc all are same kind of people. Pure soul down to earth and respecting everyone’s religion. I wish all pakistani can learn from them. Some knowledge is not shared by any religion in the world, only gifted to those who has been Chosen by ALLAH. And i pray for all to receive Hadayt. Extra info: there is a place called Adam’s peak.
