KENNITH SIMMONS X READER: Coffee Time!

ah yes, Gay Cactus time!

(btw y'all are in high school in this)

2nd person POV:

You and Kenneth Simmons had been friends for a good few months now, with you being the only person that didn't berate him or beat him. So you decided to be a little bold, seeing as you had developed feelings for him, so you ran up to him and tapped his shoulder.

He turned around, his cold stare lightening up once he realized it was you as a pink glaze brushed along his pale cheeks,

"Oh! H-Hello y/n. How can I help you?" He asked quietly, silently cursing himself for being so damn formal, but you didn't mind too much so he let it go. You smiles up at him with a blush and asked him if he wanted to go with you to (fav coffee shop), his gaze lit with fluster as his blush spread like wildfire yet he nodded.

After school, he found the cafe you mentioned, with you sitting at one of the front tables outside and waving at him. He found his face flushing again when he saw you and mentally berated himself for it as he walked.

'no no no she wouldn't love ME... She's way out of my league and besides who could love a worthless twig like me anyways...'

As he thought, he noticed that he had already sat down in front of you, and greeted you with a plastered feigned smile. You took note of this and sat up, raising a brow while doing so.

"Kenneth? Are you okay?" You asked with deep concern, you knew he has been struggling with depression, [SH], and losing past loved ones, you don't remember their names very well but you knew that Kenneth DESPISED them because they hurt him, and almost made him commit [Sewer Slide]. Not to mention the amount of people that rag on him for just existing, it made you sad just thinking of it.

Kenneth straightened and quickly let the smile fade away, his face flushed but his emotions were blank and full of self-hatred,

"listen, y/n. I won't sugarcoat it, I love you. I have since I saw you, you're just so kind, and funny, and sweet, I can't stop thinking about you... but you're way out of my league and besides, who would want to love this dysfunctional mess anywa- MMPH!" He stopped in his tracks as he was interrupted by your lips crashing into his, the passion in the kiss making it all the sweeter as Kenneth wrapped one arm around your neck, and then put his free hand on your face, caressing your cheek lightly as you get closer, deepening the kiss. Once you pulled away, you both were stuttering messes.

"so... wanna just go to my place?" You tilt your head at him, face pink and rosy.

"...Of course, Dear" He smiled, a deep red accompanying his previously pale cheeks as you two held hands, and walked home.
