Should he really do this? Will it be worth it? He had already played hooky from school for this and that was something he never imagined doing at all so this should be reasonably worth it. Ike chewed on his bottom lip as he inspected the cigarette he had between his fingers. It was preposterous how effortless it was for kids to buy anything they want in this town but he wasn't complaining.
Ike closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The image of that one notable female junior student who he had been crushing on breezed into his mind. He had overheard her telling her friends how she was into 'bad boys' these days and Ike knew he was the outright exemplar of everything opposite to the concept of 'bad boys'. He's an honor student, a teacher's pet, class president, and never stays out past curfew except for one occurrence.
It wasn't common for Ike to have a crush on anyone anymore so if he falls, he falls hard. For shit's sake, he even had an affair with a teacher before and he was like, what, four or five? He opened his eyes again and slipped the cigarette between his lips at long last. He then fished out the lighter he purchased along with the cigarette and was just about to light the stick up when at the corner of his eye, he detected a familiar figure standing at the entry of the alleyway. Out of instinct, he redirected his attention at the newcomer only to realize that it was a close friend of his brother’s.
"S-Shit!" He hissed, dropping the lighter and spitting the cigarette away from his lips. "Kenny! What the hell are you doing here...?!" He didn't know Kenny as much as he knew Stan so it was hard to tell if the guy will tell Kyle on him.
