‘ Had to see it with my own eyes, ‘ Obi-Wan looked at her, his hands clenching at his side. She looked so different now, he could barely recognize her. A voice was telling him that the Siri he knew was gone and that this was who she was now.
He didn’t want to believe that even now with the evidence right in front of him.
‘ I didn’t want to believe you had resorted to - ‘ His voice trailed off as he motioned to her with his hand.‘ This. ‘
He should not have been here. He should not have been here. She’d tried to lose him when she’d first sensed him tailing her, but blast his Jedi ability to be unshakable. The best she could do was just to have led him to where she didn’t think anyone else would happen to be.
She glared at him, jaw set angrily as he spoke. ( He should not have been here. Didn’t he know that Krayn had a kill order out any Jedi? Didn’t he know that she’d have to kill him if anyone else saw him here -- and didn’t he know that she could never kill him, even though not doing so would only get both of them killed? )
“ Well, believe it, ” she told him icily, a hand resting on one of her blaster holsters, though she didn’t draw the blaster, not yet. “ You should’ve stayed out of my way, Kenobi... ”
