yeah we had a choice of France or Ireland this year for a mandatory field trip and then next year they do further away ones which you have to pay but count as a module so it was either America, Hong Kong or Iceland if you wanted to do one :~ )
Social and cultural geography is my favourite, especially stuff like feminism and post-structuralism but I also really enjoy quaternary environments (which is like all the mammoth stuff I'm revising now ehehe) even though I'm not too great at physical geography ahh!
I wish I was studying a language, what do you do as a linguist? :~ O I'm desperate to learn mandarin one day
