This person wonders about Japan's taste in drinks while inexplicably drinking hot tea in hot weather. I would rather give wasabi beer a chance than drink a hot cup of tea while dying from the heat. Like I've seen British things where some character is sweating from the heat and someone hands them a steaming cup of tea and they're all "ah, just what i needed" or something. wtf.

tbh it's a shame to serve cold tea where i live, it's like serving cold food or something?? it's considered disrespectful and ice tea is another type of drink but like you better not serve it without showing it is

Ha, drastically different cultures. Where I grew up serving iced tea in the summer is like a given in hospitality.

Hey so someone requested a hair coloring tutorial so I'm just gonna write here how I do it. Remember there are a lot of ways to do it and practice is key.

I made a video because why not

We're gonna be using SAI for this. Don't ask me where to get it, just google it, it's gonna be faster.

I'm gonna use two presets on SAI: Water and Blur. I always color with Water and I use Blur to blend my colors.

Given that I make my linearts on SAI in a linework frame, I position it at the top and then all my base color/shadows/lights/frames go below it.

(Linework is my lineart, layer 5 is my base color for the hair and the multiply one is my first shadow layer)

We need a lineart to color. I chose this one I made a while ago (click for full colored version) because the hair is in full display and it allows me to show really well how i color it

Fill it in the blanks (I'm being v basic here)

So once we have our lines with the base colors, we're gonna select the Water tool, these are my settings, but you should play with them until something fits you.

You might want to play especially with the Density and Dilution settings to make the stroke vary. 

Next is creating a new frame above our frame with the base colors and set it to multiply. Then with the water tool we're gonna make something like this

Here is important to use a very light color (I always use #FADCE6 because i like all my things pink) and a *big size* (I used 50 here but it depends on the dimensions of your drawing). While you don't have to be accurate, you should have figured out how the hair is behaving and start giving it shape. See how I'm undulating the strokes. You can always go back and repeat it until you like it and you can also use the blur tool to correct anything.

Once you're done with it, create another layer above it, remember to always set this multiply layers to "Clipping Group", and repeat the same process as above, but use a slightly stronger color (#D2B4BE) and a smaller size (20). 

If you don't have a lot of practice this might take a while, but if you're used to use the tablet, it should be no problem. I know it might sound like it's hard, but believe me it's all practice I had no idea how to color hair 5 years ago. And I'm still not sure I know how to.

Repeat step above (stronger color+smaller water size)

Repeat as many times as you need.

With a bigger water tool size (80), add more shadows where it applies 

Now for the highlights I set up my layers on overlay and use white or a very light color, you can regulate the opacity so it looks more subtle or not, depending on what your goal is.

A couple more of highlights and there you have it

Oh yeah, Unsharp Mask filter on photoshop is your friend. Use it.

I guess it's because you go through the Hunter Exam, which is four whole phases. And on top of that, you have the whole deal on Kukuroo Mountain. i honestly thought I was so far into the anime after all that, but nope.

ahh so far it is alright im still trying to figure it out haha i'll probably post a coloring using sai when I think theyre decent omg
