The day I died - ReImagined
I've recently re-read Bleach and I felt the same way I had all those years ago, when I wrote my first fic. I didn't really like the ending to Bleach, there were so many not so subtle expositions about Ichigo not being able to return to the world of the living, but then in the end he's all grown up, an adult, married with children. So all those years ago I wrote a really shoddy fanfiction, that somehow got a lot of attention. I wasn't really good at writing, but I had the inspiration and drive, and so I did. I ended up getting writers block and my interest faded as I wasn't happy with what I wrote, and I had no consistency in my work back then. My reader really started to hate it.
And that's fine, I'm not a fan of it either. But I do love the idea that started it all, which was; what would've happened if Rukia was late arriving at Ichigo's that one fateful night.
Since the one and only pairing I could even see in that whole universe being IchiRuki, I have to write it about them, but with the twist being that it's not centered on romance, so I can take my time developing their relationship.
I now have began with my re-imagined edition, it is as fresh as they come, or at least I hope it is. As I don't really read FFs, but I sure love writing this one.
I usually never self promote, but I really want to know if it's any good and if people enjoy it, or if it's actually even worse than what I wrote some 10 years ago.
So without further ado (TL:DR), I present to thee "The Day I Died - Re Imagined"
Summary:
After dying while protecting his family, Ichigo Kurosaki is thrust into the hidden world of Soul Reapers, where he must navigate a life he never asked for while uncovering mysteries surrounding his own existence, Soul Society, and the people closest to him.
