I would put a curse on the national railway system except someone already did and it's called -20 degrees celsius
My first cats came to me from a home which I know nothing about (some guy picked them up from the countryside where they would've been killed and I got them from him) and they also do it sometimes. A bad childhood might be a factor. You also might want to think if there's been any stressful events for your cat prior to her peeing on stuff. Cats sometimes forget they're supposed to go to the litter box if they're extremely stressed.
i got her when she was still a very young kitten from my best friend. she was found by my friend’s mom from the streets and didn’t have any behavioral issues at all. so her childhood, except for when she was extremely young, was in a good environment. and i can’t imagine anything stressful that might be going on. the only thing it might be is the changes of us putting together a nursery, but that was done gradually and she’s responded very well to it. also she has been spayed. so i dunno.
i think i’ll just have to talk it over with the vet, because i can’t think of any external factors that i could help her with. :(
