What we know is that his leadership was exemplary and sacrificial. His vision transcended himself. * * My quote today uses a tree as an analogy for leadership. LEADERSHIP is synonymous with sacrifice, paving the way and providing a platform upon which others can build their hopes and dreams. * * It's like a tree's roots are really key to it's ability to grow and stand tall. The root does all the hard lifting, it is underneath not always seen. * * Jesus another great example of leadership and sacrifice said "I am the vine and u are the branches, stay grafted in me to bear much fruit" In another statement he says " the first amongst you must be the last. He exemplified sacrifice and paving the way. * * Great leadership is about paying a great price, which depending on the dream, can be very costly and fatal. It is not for everyone. * * While we may not attain this level of greatness. We can still attain greatness through self leadership and helping others with what we have learnt, and to get to where we have already being.
