I could give in to fear and worry about finances. • I could choose to trust it’s all God’s resources in the end. • As I went through my finances and plans for moving to Kenya today, I had to willfully surrender the anxiety it brought up to Jesus. He has sustained me month to month, and I thank Him every day for the blessing He allowed me to realize one of my dreams to live in California at some point in my life. • Even this was His purpose, for my life has changed. He finally, totally has my heart. And through my California home church, He’s sending me to Kenya for a year. • He called me to leave my comfort zone. He always does that. So I guess, when I think about where I’m at right now, I wouldn’t change a thing. • Attempting this adulting phase financially independent of my parents since graduating high school has been rouuugh to say the least. Practicing frugality, becoming a minimalist, and hustling as a freelancer are lessons I’m glad I had to learn now. Also, the appreciation is much more deeply felt for the random acts of kindness and support from people (which of course are miracles and gifts sent straight from above!!) that always seem to come in the eleventh hour! • So that’s it. I choose to trust.
