If you like to read I can't recommend this book highly enough. As a fellow African living in a time of extreme change in South Africa (once again). This book was both profoundly sad and very joyful. One cannot but admire and respect the love, persistence and sheer determination it must have taken "to mourn and grieve, as one must, but then to turn the page and focus on giving to the living". For those who prefer a movie don't miss PBS's Wisdom of the wild.
