Headcanon prompt: ask meme, letter C - Cats, dogs, or both?
Requested by @kerarin. I answered cats, so here ya go:
Dekusquad has this little competition going on in their group chat (Dekusquad has a group chat y’all can’t change my mind it’s canon)
So they take and send pictures of cute cats, the one who sends the cutest pic wins
Todoroki is currently the undefeated champion. Cute cats just gravitate toward him, apparently.
So one afternoon Deku and Ochako decided to team up against Todo (they make a great team it’s canon)
They found one hanging out underneath a tree and upon hearing its meow Ochako just fell in love™
They name her Mochi!!!
“Mochi is adorable she’s the sweetest the cutest the asdfghjkl” -Uraraka Ochako
While Ochako is gushing Deku is taking pictures with his smartphone (the camera is better than Ochako’s flip phone’s) and listening to her and watching her so happy just- ‘why can’t I stop smiling???’
“Okay Uraraka-san I think we got enough to beat Todoroki-kun this time around.”
“Oh, Deku-kun can you take a picture of me and Mochi please?”
“Sure!”
Easy peasy, right? Except it’s not, because somehow the lighting was just perfect. Her hair shines and her cheeks look rosier under the light. And dammit she’s smiling that ‘heart-squeezing smile’ of hers. Have her eyes always been this pretty? Oh no oh no oh no
Poor boy almost forgot to put Mochi in the frame lol his hand wouldn’t stop shaking too but he did it! Hooray! Pat yourself in the back, Deku. But then-
“Let’s take a selfie, the three of us!”
And so the emotional struggle began all over again for Midoriya Izuku
Later on Deku sent pictures of Mochi to the group chat. Mochi wins easily, cuteness seems to be her quirk.
That night Ochako continued gushing about Mochi in their personal chatroom after he sent her the pictures
And whoops he set their selfie as their chatroom’s background
He told her he almost sent the pic of her and Mochi to the group chat
Thankfully he avoided that because Mochi is already too cute, putting her and Uraraka-san in one picture would make them win in a landslide and that’s not fair. That amount of cuteness put together should be illegal.
‘Wait did I just type that AND SEND IT TO URARAKA-SAN?’
Ochako just replied with a winking cat sticker and a ‘Well good night see you tomorrow!’ but what Deku didn’t know is that she was a floating blushing mess in her bedroom
Ok! Good night! Go to sleep get some rest for tomorrow’s classes crisis averted phew!
He sneaked a glance at the picture of her and Mochi once again (to make sure it’s safe, you know? safe. in the chatroom. in his phone’s gallery. SaFe!!!)
Later that night:
“Uraraka-san is adorable she’s the sweetest the cutest the asdfghjkl” -Midoriya Izuku’s heart at 12.05 am
“Uh oh™” Midoriya Izuku’s brain at 12.06 am

Headcanon prompt: ask meme, letter F - Favorite food

Usually after stressful and tiring days Ochako always finds a box of her favorite mochi in her locker with a doodle of Thirteen and encouraging quotes attached on it.
Eventually this becomes a regular thing. Everyone in class A knows because Ochako always shares. And whenever she announces she got another box, it turns to war for everyone else.
(Kirishima dubs it ‘Battle of Mochi’)
She wants to know who this mysterious sender is so she can thank them personally, so she goes and compares the handwriting on the doodle with everyone else’s. She even checks class B.
No match
It’s not Kaminari, who knows mochi is her favorite
It’s not Iida or Deku either
(she’s slightly disappointed that the handwriting doesn’t match Deku’s, because he’s the only one she could think of that could do something sweet like this, besides, doodling heroes is his thing)
After a while, she gets frustrated of not knowing who the sender is to the point that it upsets her.
Just like how the mochi didn’t only reach her, her frustration also affects everyone in class A.
Even Bakugou gets fed up
“I’ve heard enough of this shit! Fucking wimp needs to man up and confess already!”
“But we have to consider their feelings. Maybe they’re just shy.”
“Ochako-chan is so upset, though. If I were her I would want to thank them personally too.”
Cue the class arguing and accusing
It takes Ochako to stop them. “Maybe Momo is right. I’m still disappointed, but if they don’t want to tell me who they are I’ll respect it. I just wish I may get to know who’s been so kind to me... and maybe do something for them in return.” The whole class goes silent, then, after making sure that everyone gets her point, she leaves.
The next day, after school, another box of mochi is already sitting in her locker. There’s no doodle this time. Just the same handwriting she doesn’t recognize.
“Making you happy is already more than enough.” And on the flip side, “Someday I’ll tell you. I promise.”
Meanwhile, back in class everyone is worried because Ochako just bolted out of class once their teacher left. The girls wants to go after her but Tsuyu stops them because Deku’s already running. “They need to sort this out themselves.”
“You mean Midoriya is the one who’s been giving her those boxes of mochi?”
“He’s smart. I don’t doubt he knows not to use his own handwriting. But even if he isn’t, well, there’s still something they need to figure out anyway.”
(background Iida is still yelling about not running in the hallway)
Deku finds her by her locker, along with a single tear he didn’t expect. But he doesn’t have the chance to say anything, because she wipes it away as soon as he approaches her.
“Uraraka-san,” he glances at the sticky note, “maybe you can put another sticky note in your locker to say thank you so they can find it the next time they give you mochi.”
“After all they did, a simple thank you wouldn’t be enough. I need to do something for them too. We have to talk face to face.”
“But why?”
“Because if they’re still doing this, it means there’s something they have to say. Something they’re not ready to tell me. I need them to know that I’ll listen. And... maybe I have something I’m not brave enough to say to them, too,” she admits, looking embarrassed, but still determined.
Deku is too amazed of her determination to respond at this point, while Ochako just giggled at his dumb shocked face. She tugged his finger, and they leave the lockers.
“You know,” she says with an unreadable smile on her face. “While I was trying to find who this mysterious sender is... I was hoping that it’d be you, Deku.”
“W-why?”
“I don’t know. Maybe there’s something you need to know that I’m not ready to say.” Her voice gets quieter. “Maybe I’m just hoping that you have the exact same thing to tell me. But if you don’t... it’s okay, Deku. And if you do, then, it’s okay too.”
Deku.exe has stopped working
“Well, see ya later-”
“Uraraka-san, if you have something to say to me... will you tell me?”
She panics and ends up stuttering. “Yeah, but, Deku... some things need more time than others.”
“Trust me, I know.”
“Then yes. You trust me too, don’t you?”
Deku nods. “But if I’m not ready, will you be patient with me?”
She seems to relax after he said that. “Only if you’ll do the same.”
Something changed within his eyes; a glint, one that Ochako can easily find reassurance in whenever they’re about to face something big.
“I promise.”
From that glint and those two words alone, she knows. It’s him. She still doesn’t know whose handwriting he used to mask his identity, but she knows now and she throws him a big engulfing hug. “Thank you, Deku.”
Cue Deku profusely sweating and wasting twenty seconds before hugging her back. “Anytime, Uraraka-san.”
Later on when she’s getting her broken arm healed up, she catches a glimpse of Recovery Girl’s handwriting.
Perfect match
“So, has he finally grown a spine and talked to you instead of getting me to write his silly messages?” Ochako shakes her head awkwardly. “Have you, then?” Ochako doesn’t shake her head, but the colors on her cheeks give Recovery Girl enough answers.
“Youth really is wasted on the young.”
Case closed! Or is it???

Ah, sorry Key I think I’m keepingthis prompt for izuocha week. But I’ll do the others!
