Ok you guys finally get to actually see me make a sweater from start to finish

hello fellow gay person who knits! i'm excited for your kermit sweater. are you planning to use stranded colour work or intarsia for the yoke?

its funny that you ask!! I actually attempted this sweater months ago with the yoke in intarsia, but it looked REALLY bad (at least to me)

So this time I'm trying stranded colorwork, which seems to be going better but I already had to frog it (pun totally intended) so we'll see how that goes I guess

I didnt take a picture from before I unraveled but it was just puckering a bit too much for me

We're making some good progress fellas

I don't fw the way the increases look, even though I thought I used a very invisible one (LLI). Getting a strong urge to unravel again but I'll just have to trust the process

thank GOD for blocking because this would have looked like SHIT if I didn't do that (did not take pic pre-blocking (sorry) so just trust me it was ugly af) the increases are obviously very visible but I will just have to choose to accept it. Because I would rather dig my own grave than redo this fucking yoke again.
