Like Resident Evil isn’t really a series that big on romance in the first place but with the remake of 2 out, people have noticed the chemistry between Leon and Claire (the fact that that they can both be badass in their own rights also helps). 

The idea I think is that Chris, of all people, would want to see them together the most & be the one to continue his badass family lineage. This is funnier when you consider his close-but-not-quite-romantic bond with Jill

Are there any emulators that effectively run Zeldas Adventure?

TinyCD-i can, but you need to do a lot of setup to play it, and it freezes if you get a game over. There’s a tutorial on YouTube if you search up “Zelda’s Adventure emulation”
