"I had to spend well over a million dollars this year just drilling wells to sustain the crops that we have, mainly permanent crops. And we can't afford to file just because the investment and Money we owe back to the bank on an investment we made, and so something we didn't want to do, but something we were forced to do."
Kern County Farmer Greg Wegis and his family and partners have farmed a variety of crops in the San Joaquin Valley for more than 100 years.
