@kerrotko wanted a starter for Lucius from Isabelle
It had been ages since Purefoy Manor had looked so breathtakingly alive. Since before the Pantheonic Wars the large house and estate, while maintained well and kept nearly spotless, had been closed off to the public both in the Greek Pantheon and the Wizarding World. Only a few select people were ever invited in, especially after the war.
Now that there was another one brewing, this time in the Wizarding World, Isabelle had decided that since her most recent guest had most definitely been a Pure Blood that she may as well just invite the whole lot of them over and do some investigating herself rather than reporting it to the Ministry of Magic. It wasn’t as if those half-wits could do anything even if they tried.
She figured that she would most likely run into whoever had helped themselves into her home the other evening. It only took a day or two to set things up and to hire staff to work the event. Once they were done decorating and adding additional lighting, one would’ve never guessed that Purefoy Manor had ever been closed off to anyone.
An hour before the event, Isabelle started getting dressed and ready. After she was finished she gave herself a look in the mirror, her navy blue dress twinkling like stars hung in the night sky.
The gates and doors were finally opened, allowing the guests to enter at their leisure. Isabelle made her way downstairs, her wand tucked away in her dress along with one of her blades. Old habits died hard even during special events.
There were people she hadn’t seen since before her grandparents had passed, greeting her and introducing her to every eligible son in the room. It had been ages since anyone had married into the Purefoy line. Jade had never married after giving birth to Devlin and Isabelle, after all.
Isabelle made her way slowly around to everyone, taking her time. She smiled politely at the next family, who happened to be the Malfoys. “Good evening. I trust you’ve found everything to your liking.” She was decent at turning the charm on, “I don’t think we’ve been properly introduced. I’m Isabelle Purefoy, Elizabeth and Johnathan’s granddaughter.”
