“Heathen” Film in the Works
Natasha Alterici’s graphic novel Heathen is getting a movie adaptation. Catherine Hardwicke has signed on to direct from a script by Kerry Willamson. The film is being produced by Constantin Films and Prime Universe Films.
Heathen centers on the viking Aydis, “an outcast gay woman born into a time of warfare, suffering, and subjugation of women. She is on a mission to end the oppressive reign of the god-king Odin.” (Vault Comics)
