you get it from ticks so it was one of two things

- either when we went camping when I was 2 (I spiked a REALLY high fever which is common immediately after getting bit) - or it was one of the 10,000 times in the last six years that I decided to run around in the woods in shorts because I seriously thought ticks werent a problem

I dont know why anyone calls me smart because I honest to fuck did that on a pretty regular basis and EVERYONE knows that ticks are a problem in wisconsin

I'm chronic now so likely I'll have it for the rest of my life. sometimes you can cure it with super strong abx/supplements but it doesnt always work. I have some supplements that I am supposed to take before I can go on antibiotics, but I cant afford to get the antibiotics so I havent been doing either. also the supplements make you feel like balls because once they start killing off the bacteria, the dying bacteria release toxins and your body starts going ACK WhaT

its pretty fucked up

edit OH and in an almost hilarious turn of events for my life I just learned that its possible to transmit it sexually. It doesnt always happen that way either and while that does not bode well for my future sex life, its also possible that patrick gave it to me which im just saying to make myself feel better and because it makes me laugh. he whined a lot about how old he felt and how crappy his joints were so you know its a possibility
