And not only that- but it's hard to exhale normally when you know you have to do it for a minimum of 15 seconds! Hahaha that's a long time to exhale!!!! But that's fantastic!!!! C:
I kept thinking, 'just breathe normally', but my body was dead-set against it! Inhaling deeply, like ... 'NO! We have to blow out, so we need more air!' Crazy! Not sure I ever really got a 'normal' breath, but maybe with some practice.
So far the only annoying thing is that it takes a good while to get 'ready' after you plug it in. So long that I went to their website to try and find out just HOW LONG it takes. Of course, they said 'hours', but that must be a mis-translation, cos it just took a couple of minutes, but when you're wanting to try it, it seemed like hours! :)
Anyway, this is gonna be interesting to see how it changes with my macros and just how sensitive my body is to protein and carbs. I think most likely, it is VERY sensitive to both.
Day 17 in nutritional ketosis
It’s day 17, that’s 2 weeks and 3 days of a Ketonix meter blinking red 3-4 times each morning and night.
On day 11, last Saturday, I was really slow and jogging 10 km felt really clumsy. Energy levels have been jumping up and down, but on wednesday something happened and I got a real energy spike from bouldering after work. Feels like, the more I sit still, the less energy I have. If I move around, I get the energy back.
Have now done 2 weeks on the Hollywood Physique exercise. That’s 4 days per week of pretty intense weight lifting, 7 a’clock before work each morning. No alcohol. With that bonus jogg and bouldering.
Remember doing Hollywood Physique on carb cycling. As your supposed to do. Low carb, high protein all week and then carbing up like hell one hour on Sundays. Getting your glycogen storage depleted each week, made me really tired. And here I am, with energy left!
Results: My weight have gone up a kilo, while in the mirror it looks like my excess fat is withering away. I can now feel that “skin” right above my belly button, cannot remember ever meeting its acquaintance before. Also increased my weights in the gym.
