Yesterday I hit the lowest number on the scale since I was 24 years old and put on an old pinstripe that fit me perfectly for the first time since I bought it when I was 23. 

Regardless of the external circumstances in life, I feel fucking awesome!

I think I'm going to get a kink in my neck because of all the back gains I am making and the fact that I keep trying to look at them in the mirror. 

I'm not going to say that having a defined six-pack is over-rated because it's clearly not and I've never even had one, but I will say that having a big muscular back is entirely UNDER-rated.

I went out and bought a second 24KG kettlebell last week so I could do a lot of the Dan John complexes. 

I am sore on a whole new level right now. Like, everything. All of the body parts. Even the forearms. 

I always did equal parts on each side with my single 24KG kettlebell and didn't think there'd be much of a difference besides racking and squatting, but oh was I wrong.

I like it.

Worked out twice today because I've been a ball of nerves and stress since I woke up over these two jobs I really want that are about to tell me if I got the job or not... Even meditating, which I've been doing daily for a long time now, didn't put a dent in the heightened state I've been in.

I watched a video from Elliot Hulse which reminded me to breathe into my body and live in the moment, rather than my head, which is what inspired me to do two low-intensity cardio workouts to just get outside and recover from the "armor building" kettlebell complex I did yesterday. 

I can't believe the year is almost half over. This is insane to em. What a roller coaster and it's not even over!

How I talk to myself when I really don't feel like banging out 300 kettlebell swings but am already really hungry.

Volume Kettlebell Exercises

So I did the 300 swing a day challenge... 300 swings is a lot, but spacing it out and not killing yourself makes it manageable. 

What other exercises, if any, are suitable for kettlebells and volume? Maybe not 300 reps, but like... should I be doing a whole butt-load of turkish getups? How many is too many?
