I wonder if writing a character with trauma as a teenager is just a reflection of wanting a justification to be depressed as you are. "If I experienced what my OC did, it'd make sense."

Your OCs are traveling through the vastness of space while a stealthy alien life-form picks crew mates off one by one. How long do they last?

Ooo! Ummm. I'll answer these for Ketzal and Eli, from the Last Chance series, I think.

I've got a water bottle, some scissors, and a t-shirt. Eli would probably grab the scissors on instinct and start stabbing; Ketzal would attempt to blind her attacker with the t-shirt and then throw the water bottle at them. (this would not work).

Eli would probably think this was a professional site like LinkedIn and go with @eliazer-bronn. His blog would have one single reblog (one of Ketzal's memes) and he would have the default icon and no title.

Ketzal would have had a blog since her early teens and would likely have gone through many usernames, often relying on quotes or references for inspiration. She posts a lot of memes and very long, text-heavy infodump posts.

Ketzal would befriend a live skeleton in seconds. Eli would chase it away with a wrench.

They both have Final Girl energy, but in this situation, Eli would be sooner to react and defend them both--Ketzal would assume that there was something fundamental about the alien life form that they'd failed to understand, and she'd likely be attempting to communicate with it (much to Eli's frustration).
