and they're always glad you came
who: @kevma where: Bun intended
They've got the cursory 'other stuff' out of the way. Aria, how that's going (weird, it's easily summed up with 'weird'). Morgan, how that's going. (fine, she guesses.) The Arcade (too close to ground zero). The state of things (fine [miserable]).
But Autumn's not here to dump, or to talk about her problems, though. Aria had struck a chord with her, and while she still has just... so much more thinking to do about that, one thing's true. She has got to stop getting so wrapped up in her own shit that she lets other things go so fallow. So she's invited Kev out for lunch - on her dime, because frankly nobody should have to pay for her food bill.
Elyse and Kevin both are her friends, and she hasn't really treated either of them like they were. All of this had led her to just... ignore them - not intentionally, sure, but still, does that intention matter if the impact's the same?
"I saw you at that club a few weeks ago," she says, and there's a tease in her voice. "I saw both of you." Wolfish grin at the hint, there. One of a few memories from that night that isn't couched in weird feelings. "Kevin Ma, I wasn't familiar with your game."
