The life of the party Mingi x Kevin @fxrbidden
Warm lights, soft music in the background, amazing food and even better champagne was served at the party. Everyone was dressed in elegant clothes, each person looking more stunning than the rest. It was a very upscale event, a private party, organized by a brand owner that Mingi wasn't really aware of. He didn't even know why he was here. He wasn't enjoying the party at all. Sure, everything was as glamourous as it can be, but he hated every minute of being here. He didn't want to be here. Today he didn't feel like pretending to be a person he's not.
But he knew he couldn't leave so soon. The event had barely begun. It was only making him more irritated. There had to be some way out. At least for a while. After having basically the same conversation for the hundreth time Mingi couldn't take it anymore. He excused himself to the restroom. But he didn't actually look for the restrooms, he took a turn and was hoping no one watched him as he entered the next best room. Closing the door behind him immediately. He breathed a sigh of relief, eyes closed as he enjoed the silence of the room. His clothes felt suffocating, he didn't enjoy having to wear a suit today, even if he looked amazing in it. His hair was also styled to perfection, it had that messy look to it that everyone knew took way too much effort to achieve. His expensive watch and his silver rings felt like weights today, dragging him down even more.
Hearing the distinct rustling of clothes he opened his eyes. Eyes wide in shock for a brief moment when he realized he wasn't alone. "Oh, sorry. I didn't know this room was being used. I'm sorry for intruding." Mingi gave a polite bow of his head but stayed just a second longer. This silence was finally enough to give him the much needed comfort. And honestly he didn't feel like going back out there. But it would be weird to ask if he could stay, wouldn't it?
