Snow-pocolypse 2020: It Might As Well Happen pt. 2
Hi Will! Long time reader, first time question submitter. Any advice yo could give for people writing their first fan fic (Star Trek or any other universe)? I appreciate your time and thoughts on this. Thanks.
I don’t know much about fan fiction, because it’s not really my thing. What I have seen, though, seems to follow the basic rules of fiction writing: have a theme, give some clear choices to the characters, and tell their story.
Maybe someone who writes fan fiction will see this and offer some more useful insights.

What about Rick Martinez ???
i couldn’t find enough pics for him!! but if you can find some and send them to me i’d be happy to!!
I really love all the Alien films up until Prometheus and then it all went to hooey!
i too was really disappointed in those prequels, K.D. they just didn't live up to what they could have been. soon as i saw what the Engineers looked like, i scowled.
all those great stories written over the years in novelizations and books by Dark Horse. such a shame.
visually? both were very stunning. and i did like Katherine Waterston. Covenant just came off predictable and i shouldn't have laughed so much at Oram’s (Cudrup) idiocy.
just not happy with the direction that they are heading, and if you think its over, wait till you read what he has planned for the third installment.
on a positive. i thoroughly enjoyed Blade Runner 2o49.
What are some of your favorite movies?
Too many to make a decent post from. How about I make…
Top 5 Movies to Admit to For Anons!
5. Wizard of Oz
Quintessential American movie. It has scale, drama, humor, its not too serious but also not schlock. A technical film and photographic marvel for it’s time. A good movie.
4. The Matrix
The culmination of the 90′s imo. The Matrix was dark and gritty like 90s films championed but also glossy and Hollywood looking. Its full of contradictions, and like the Wachowski siblings it embodies many ideas some often conflicting with each other. I really like this movie.
3 & 2 Kill Bill
I will not cheat and put these two as a movie each. But Kill Bill Vol 2 is my favorite of the two. That being said I do think it is near impossible to separate the two. This is kick ass, fun, and dramatic. I really love these two.
1. Blade Runner
I would watch this everyday if I could. Would I stay awake all the time, not really. But this movie is exciting to watch and gentle in a way that gives it a dream-like quality. Obviously it’s 2019 and our world looks nothing like this world, but it doesn’t have to be because the undeniable influence this film has had on our collective consciousness and artistic expression is undeniable. The world of Blade Runner is here in some for or other.
