It was a strange place to wake up in. He’d wandered this place, Twilight Town, for a few days now. Kain found, eventually, that it led him no where. He had never stumbled across this world before, never even heard of it. The place he now rested in was called Sunset Hill, it was probably the only place of real interest it seemed. Or so, he felt. Kain wasn’t sure why he stayed, he wasn’t learning anything here. Wasn’t learning why he was here, how he got here. 

He should be learning why he was alive now, after all he’d lost his heart. Yet here he stood in an unfamiliar world, staring at a sun that never set, no emotion to lead his actions. He’d never been so lost, even when his home was destroyed. Should he return to killing Heartless? Wander the words again? Still, he felt himself drawn to stay in this place, though he felt he’d soon grow bored of Twilight Town. 

“If you’re going to stand there-” He’d suddenly become acutely aware of another presence in the area, wondering how long it had been there as he got lost in his own thoughts. “-you ought make yourself known.”
