Genna has been such a strong muse for so long for me, and the only thing I want to do right now is come back here and right because I miss you guys so much. Should I come back? Although some time had passed since their last meeting, he still held her in high regard and particularly as one of the first people to whom he had opened up in a long time. They’d had a lot of deep and difficult conversations, hadn’t they? Time spent apart did not change any of that. Her enthusiasm was reassuring too and her excitement contagious; that, or the initial euphoria of becoming a father had yet to wear off. It was bizarre to think, really, that he’d been terrified of being a parent around the time he’d first met Genna. “ It’s weird, though, isn’t it? Me being a dad? I think I’ve grown up a lot ”, he beamed, one finger already raised in preparation for what he would say next,“ Her name is Hana, by the way. As in one. The first. I’d like to have a few kids. A big family! ”

How dare he keep something like this from her for so long!  “I’m going to murder you, Kael Haden! She’s been here since October?” Her words may have sounded angry, but Genna was doing nothing but smiling. “You bet it has a cute ring to it. I’ll be the best aunt that kid will ever have.” Especially since she was pretty sure there weren’t any other aunts in the picture, at least not that she knew of. It was kind of weird thinking of Kael as a father, too. Genna still felt like a child herself sometimes. She couldn’t imagine how Kael felt when he first found out; elated, terrified? Probably a mixture of both. “You sure have,” she laughed. “Just enough for Asura to raise both you and Hana at the same time.” She was only poking fun at him, of course. “That’s a really cute name, though. Just promise me you won’t name your second kid ‘Deul’, okay?”

“Well… if you’re sure…” It was still stupid, and she felt ashamed. “Let’s see if they put any runes down. A lot of times, they’re used to activate traps.”

But like all the other old man muses I take up ( Merlin, Yen Sid, Bobby Singer, etc. ), their blogs never last long because interaction is so scars. For that, he was grateful — although he did not say out of fear of making matters awkward – for he knew he had a rotten habit of dwelling.“ I wouldn’t tell a little kid that, though. If a kid tells me they want to be a stegosaurus, I’m not about to stomp on their imagination. If my daughter— ” Oh, wait, she didn’t know about that yet, did she? Cue the awkward and too-clumsy coughing fit.

“Y-You’re WHAT?!” Admittedly Genna had expected something was up. As secretive as Kael was, Genna could still tell when he was keeping something from her. Being so perceptive was a handy trait to have most of the time — until it landed her into trouble, anyway. By now she was beaming from ear to ear, not able to conceal her excitement over the matter. “How long have you known? Do I get to be an aunt?!” Parenthood was one thing; the mere idea scared the hell out of her — but being an aunt was an entirely different matter. She had about a million questions running through her mind. What were they naming her? Or had she already been born? As crazy a thought that was, it was still possible seeing as how they hadn’t seen each other very much lately.

Hello, hello~! You’ve maybe noticed me sprucing up a few things on my blog. I don’t like the navigation pages anymore, so I’m trying to figure out a better alternative without having to recode popups. xD Sadly at the same time, I’m rendering out a big project for one of my animation classes, so my computer is being uber slow atm. xP;; I only have one reply to do for @nightscaped, so I’ll try to fine another meme to throw out to get some more interactions going~

“Oh, gladly, Miss Carter. I would love to push this door open and free the two of us from this cramped, confined room.”

Light burst forth between the pair as a sphere of radiant ice formed… before Kaito sent it hurtling into the door to absolutely no effect other than a pretty particle shower. Upturned lips and amused tone were replaced by the half-demon’s signature scowl.

“Except I can’t, you ninny! That’s why we’re still cooped up in this stupid closet! The door seems to be bewitched - no matter what I try, it won’t open!”

“Bewitched?” Strange. Who would want to trap them both within this closet? And why? 

“Not like a little snowball would do much to budge a door anyway,” she quipped. Genna had spoken with a smile, but she quickly pursed her lips. Either he was just pulling a prank on her, which very well could have been the case, or something was really wrong here. The latter seemed the most likely, given his rather uncool response.

hey guys! I had a bit of a relapse this week, and long story short I ended up having to go in for a spinal tap/lumber puncture today >.< I’m fine now though, so no worries! I just felt bad for coming back here and then disappearing the very next day without saying a word otherwise xD but since I have to stay flat on my back for the next 24 hours or so to make sure I heal up properly, hopefully I’ll be feeling well enough to get out some replies. C:
