My keyboard refuses to turn on. I've tried everything and now I'm just pounding it in hopes it'll work. Send help.

I hate the german keyboard on phones. It automatically Switches random first letters in to capital letters whether I want it or not. THE ENGLISH HAVE BANNED CAPITAL LETTERS, WheN wIlL yOu lEaRn???

“That doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. You just have to know how to do it. Plus now I know a shit ton of shortcut keys I didn’t used to. Win for me.”

Som of my kys don’t ork problrly anymor ithout mashing my kyboard. This mans that I can no long play any gam that requires WASD.

Also one of th keys that barely works is a vowel so that fucking sucks too.

I fixed my problem with the keys. For SSO F1 disables the hud, and F2 takes a screenshot. But they are also in such a convenient place that I've been using them as record and screenshot keys for Action (a recording program) and fraps and all the programs I've had for the past 6 years.

I've also had this keyboard for like 5 years now. I just love it and it's not showing any signs of being broken or needing to be fixed. It has macro keys and all kinds of stuff I've not really known what they do.

On Reddit some time ago I learned that you need a Steelseries program to use them. They work as shortcuts for multiple keys. Say I can assign MX1 as ctrl + z so it's just my backwards button.

Now I then assigned L1 and L2 to work as shortcuts for different keysets I'd use for recording and screenshotting. They work like a dream. And holy shit my problems are now fixed. They are not as in a nice convenient place as F1 and F2 but it's alright.

Also I don't think I've shown my amazing mouse pad before. Spectre all the way 👌it's huge and comfortable, it cost like 35 euros on black Friday sale and I got to choose the picture so I ofc went with one of my favorite games of all time: NieR Automata. Another game I was considering was Mass Effect Andromeda a screenshot of my sisRyder and Vetra (my one and only otp). Maybe I'll get that later. And have two mouse pads.

My table is just so full of crap atm that I'm not gonna show it in all its glory.

TFW you open a window to rant about an issue with your keyboard, and when you start typing, the keyboard works perfectly.

(The keyboard sometimes adds extra letters when I type particular characters. It’ll throw a ` in before the letter “a”, and a \ whenever I hit enter (which meant that a lot of my passwords were failing - THAT one took me a while to figure out.) Typing 5 or f will enter both letters; typing j or 6 will enter both letters. There are more, but those are the main ones. I have no idea why it does this, or why it sometimes seems to spontaneously fix itself. Any ideas??)
