“WHAT’S YOUR HONG KONG ZODIAC”

Arlington, Virginia artist KeyHan says his art is influenced by his interests in pop-art, surrealism, dadaism, low-brow street art, and fine art. While identifying himself as an artist for most of his life, he worked for years as a graphic designer—only beginning to show his work in the last few years and working full-time as an artist for only the last several months. KeyHan’s work often explores layers, textures, patterns, and contrasting themes. For Pow!Wow! DC his mural on Washington DC’s Metropolitan Branch Trail pairs up 12 artists and celebrities with Zodiac animals from pop culture, e.g., David Bowie as Pig-gy Stardust and Salvador Dali as Dragon-DadaDali.
