Because of how much trouble Cayde got into every time he left the City, let alone the Tower, the others had forbidden him to leave at all until he had caught up with the work he so often put off in favor of those shenanigans. “How Rude,” he thought, sulking at the big oval table the leading Fireteam spent so much time around. Bored out of his mind, he was beyond overjoyed to see a familiar face that wasn’t the grumpy old blueberry. 

“Hey, hey Green! I know that’s not your name but the only things that come to mind right now is a blur of numbers and whatever colors I’m looking at.” He subtly gestured to the paperwork and maps in front of him, hoping Zavala didn’t notice from somewhere behind him. He had been staring at this shit for so long, he was legitimately seeing the work again behind closed eyes. “This is boring as all hell. Anything interesting going on outside?”
