I have an idea I’m just not quite sure how to make it link.. Like I have a character who like many others before them was being used as bait due to being powerless in a community that only allows those with powers to reproduce (mind you it’s not genetic so they’re a bit silly) and yet instead of being devoured, they (the MC) are taken by the dragons (not really dragons but like it’s the easiest way to describe what they are rn) and instead told that they’re the key that they’ve been looking for. I know I want for them to be able to harness the “dragons’” powers for them so they’re able to fight back and not essentially be slaughtered how they have been, but I don’t know how that makes sense. Because the species is intelligent enough to not be baited in, but then why would they go and take MC or the many others before the MC? And then what exactly is it about the MC that allows them to channel others’ powers through them. Idk, it’s a work in progress lol
