Really excited for Clover so I wanted to shoot my first Clover ask:
Why does Clover dislike Chara? Is it related to Chara being a genocider and if so, do they also dislike Frisk since they too are a genocider?

So, Frisk and Clover actually get along incredibly well! Their personalities are similar and the two grew close almost immediately. There's only one thing they disagree on and have learned never to talk about that topic around each other.
However, Clover and Kris aren’t aware that the two committed genocide, they know something happened in their world but just don’t know the full extent of it.
Chara and Frisk are merely playing along with their obliviousness in the meantime.
Clover does genuinely dislike Chara but tolerates them since, as Kris says, “Frisk and Chara are a package deal”. If they want to be friends with Frisk, they just kind of have to put up with Chara's presence. Clover doesn't like the way that Chara seems to always talk/answer for Frisk, how unnecessarily aggressive and mean they can be for no reason, and how they tend to look down on and disregard everyone else.
Most conflicts are instigated by Chara, and Clover always takes the bait and retaliates. Chara views the two of them as two sides of the same coin who want the same thing, but that’s a conversation that Clover isn’t ready to have. Because of that, they view Clover as wasted potential and are constantly frustrated by the other’s black-and-white way of thinking compared to Chara’s morally gray way of thinking.
They both know exactly how to set each other off and arguments often spiral until Kris or Frisk step in, which is, well... Often LMAO
I'm glad you seem to like this dynamic because obviously the majority of the fandom have a very specific way they view Chara and Clover... This literally goes against all of that so I wasn't sure how ya'll would react to that
Clover is still extremely outgoing and positive on the surface, but I wanted them to be more complex than that. They have their own stuff they're dealing with and they have their own goals that they are trying accomplish.
