Khadeejah Bint Khuwaylid (AS)
I watched a lecture by Dr Raniaa and read about Khadeejah (AS) and I couldn't help but become emotional. She married at the age of 15 had two beautiful sons and was widowed 2 years later. She remarried at 17 had a beautiful daughter and was widowed 2 years later again.
Subahanallah a woman who is only 19 years old raising three children by herself and still managing her business is truly inspiring and uplifting. Imagine how much sabr she had. She was a single mother who juggled life trying to do her best for her children but also trying to please Allah. She fought against all stereotypes for the sake of her beliefs and not 'feminism', She did not follow trends but she paved the path for herself while being Allah conscious.
When she married Rasullulah (SAW) and he was commissioned a Prophet of Allah people mocked her with Rasul, but she stood firm by his side and believed him when everyone else ridiculed him. She covered him and calmed him down after his first interaction with Jibreel (AS) when everyone else would think he went mad.
She birthed him six beautiful children from the age of 40. She gave up her wealth for the sake of Islam funding Rasullulah's journeys to spread Islam.
There were days when Muhammad (SAW) would stay in the cave of Hiraa for days and she would climb those steep hills just to bring him food and water, imagine a woman who is in her fifties climbing those hills. On one occasion Allah even bid her Salaam through Jibreel (AS) and he conveyed Salaam as well and her reply was ever more so beautiful ''Allah is As-salaam'' he is the giver of peace.
Imagine the level of piety and Imaan that Allah himself gave her Salaam and promised her a Palace made out of pearls in Jannah, where there will be no noise or fatigue.
She is such a strong woman and her story brings you to tears, Subhanallah she is so inspirational and we should all strive to attain all her beautiful values ameen.
May Allah have mercy on her and on the Ummah ameen.
