I'm really depressed and unmotivated to do anything at all so I'm going to panera where I will be surrounded by people who feel better than I do rn and hopefully that and a greek salad will make me feel better

it's just - it is so fucking hard not to feel like this actually ??? like whenever i watch a new tv show, there is close to 0 queer character or if there's one it's the secondary character in the background, and thanks god for shows like orange is the new black but it. is. not. enough.
i can count on my fingers the amount of things i watched that featured canon gay characters and it isn't fucking normal - don't we deserve role models, too ?!
and speaking as a cis white lesbian i know i'm in the "lucky ones" because representation for me still exists while it's almost non-exist for others lgtbq/non-binary/poc people
