Moonlight helps guide them together and find the one thing they've been missing in their separate worlds: trust. Supernatural/Mermaid AU.

3 headcanons for a florist/tattoo artist AU

1. Soul is the calm one and having lots of patience to take care of the flowers, so he’s totally the florist. He has one full sleeves of tattoos and a work in progress on his shoulder/back and his other arm. He’s a regular customer in the tattoo shop Maka just started to work at.Maka is looking like everything but a tattoo artist to be honest. She has a delicate small tattoo on her back, the outlines of a set of abstract wings. Beside that her skin is pretty clear of any ink. Maka is a tattoo artist for tiny and subtle tattoos with a thing for watercolor.

2. Soul is a regular in the tattoo shop that Maka is working at. Maka is fairly new and greets Soul and tells him that he has to wait a bit, his tattoo artist is stuck in traffic jam or whatever. Soul in the meantime checks out the artists portfolios, the current one being Maka’s. Soul has a flower bouquet with him for his grandma that he visits after the tattoo appointment. Maka is working on a sketch and looks up flowers for renference, noticing Soul’s flowers and ask him, if he knows the name of the pink flowers he has there. Soul the full expert is telling her the full latin name and stops in his tracks to tell her the common name. His tattoo artist comes in right this second and Soul asks Maka if she can keep an eye on his flowers, for the time she takes care of them, she can use them for reference. When he’s done with his current tattoo and is taking his flowers back, he asks if they were any use, she shows him her sketch with a smile, they were great for her work. 

3. Soul and Maka exchanged phone numbers and are texting often. Maka having a new commission and asks Soul, if he has any flowers he recommends for her current concept. He’s the expert and picks everything out that he has for her in mind, so she can pick them up. The first time she visits Soul in the flower shop left her breathless, inspiration in every corner and watching Soul work so carefully with the flowers made her heart beat like crazy. He’s all of that gruff looking guy, more of a lumberjack than anything, taking care of the smallest flower arrangement she has ever seen. ♥ 

+ Bonus: Soul brings her a flower whenever they meet and a tulip for each date. The colors darker the more they date, the recent one a red one. Maka looked up their meaning (Tulips are a nice gift on a date when you have feelings for someone, the red tulip meaning deep love). Soul wants a tattoo on his arm in her style. She tattoos him a tiny red tulip to reciprocate his feels. ♥

Hey everyone! This is my second piece for the 2017 Reverb, and I had the absolute pleasure of working with the fabulous @khaleesimaka!! She was wonderful to work with, and her work is stunning!! Thank you so much for taking on my prompt, it was awesome working with you! <3

Apparently my theme for Reverb was super complicated backgrounds?? LOL. I had so much fun with the lighting and all the little trinkets Maka brought with her. Plus the absolute LOVESTRUCK look Soul’s sporting, haha! He’s got it bad for his little marine biologist ;)

Not to mention, I will use any excuse I can do draw merfolk and mer related AUs. His shark tail was MY FAVORITE PART TO COLOR!!

“A lot of things need electricity, Yuuri! Well, there’s the essentials, like a lamp, television, phone chargers, my heated blanket, Maccachin’s heated blanket, my foot spa, probably something of yours too, I guess–ow! What was that for?”
