the youtube algorithm is fascinating. i slept listening to a documentary about the Khamar Daban Incident, then woke up to one about the Bridgewater Triangle, then to a documentary about the son of Catherine the Great.

Then I realized...Russia...Massachusetts...then back to Russia? It circled back but why the Bridgewater Triangle in between? I actually knew about that one in the early 2000s and incidentally i knew almost every person interviewed in that documentary but nothing in my youtube watch history would have brought me to them since it was before i had this account and I knew of the Bridgewater Triangle due to podcast not youtube.

Then it clicked, the Khamar Daban incident involves supernatural speculation so I guess that was how YT arrived at Bridgewater Triangle... but still funny...Russian frightening hiking incidents, ghosts and aliens, Paul I of Russia!
